ProPak Indonesia and Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2011 will be held 16-19 November 2011 following the closure of this year?s event which attracted 17,811 trade visitors. This exhibition was held in conjunction with Manufacturing Indonesia and Machine Tool Indonesia; together they covered an area of 32,727 square meters.
A total of 2102 companies from 39 countries exhibited at the combined events including National and Regional groups from Austria, China, Germany, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the UK. A huge temporary structure had to built at the exhibitions grounds as the existing 9 halls at the exhibition venue were to small to cater to the demand.
Ian Roberts, Managing Director of Pamerindo Indonesia said "We plan to hold Plastics and Rubber/ProPak Indonesia separate from Manufacturing and Machine Tools starting in 2011 to allow both events to expand further. The exhibitions have now outgrown the venue and we had more demand this year than we could accommodate."
Exhibitors were delighted with their participation with most companies requesting space at the next event in 2011.
"The response from the visitors is getting better and they are very enthusiastic to buy our machines" said Billy Tjang, Director from Billplast Grapindo.
"Much better visitors than last year our product has completely sold out" said Debora Asri of Dong Woo.
"We are very happy with this exhibition; we met a lot of potential customers. My principals are very happy with this exhibition and they are planning on coming back next year" said Willy Dharmawan, Director Finson Indomas agent for MEAF, Vandam and Thermoware.
"Great exhibition, it gives us a lot of customers" said Welly of Zhejiang Hongzhen Machine Mould Group.
"We definitely will participate again next year and we will inform other machinery companies to participate as well" said Eden Wu of Guangdong Designer Machinery Co Ltd.
We are very satisfied with the 25 serious new contacts that we have made including some extrusion companies that we have wanted to do business with for some time" said Per Larsson, Services Manager, Piovan. Italy.
