Press Release : US$3 million of sales recorded at East Indonesia's major Manufacturing Exhibition
Manufacturing Surabaya will return 2-5 June 2010 following the closure of this year’s event which attracted 6213 trade visitors from throughout Indonesia.
This year’s exhibition was the first event to be held in the brand new Grand City Convention and Exhibition Centre, a new purpose built venue in the heart of Surabaya. “At last we have a venue capable of meeting our expectations and allowing us to expand the show further in the future” says Maysia Stephanie, Project Manager of PT Pamerindo Buana Abadi organiser of the exhibition.
Recorded sales at the show which surpassed over US$3 million are testament to the strength of East Indonesia’s Manufacturing Industry. Exhibitors were delighted with their participation with many exhibitors confirming their participation for 2010;
Mr Jonas Jananto, Marketing Director of PT Riyadi Putera Makmur said “We sold 2 units at the show, despite exhibiting for the first time. It turned out to be very positive and it really justifies our participation.”
Mr Cheng S.K, Key Account Director of Watt Euro-Drive (Far East) said “The visitors are great, both in quality and quantity and we have definitely enjoyed our participation at this exhibition.”
Sales Director of NAVIGAT Energy (authorized distributor for GE Jenbacher), Mr Nils Hansen said “This is our first time at Manufacturing Surabaya. Our participation provided us with the perfect opportunity to meet new and existing clients in Eastern Indonesia”

For the first time a one day seminar under the theme “Conditions and the Problems facing the mold and die industry in Indonesia” is organized by Indonesian Mold and Die Association (IMDIA).
